ENERGY DEMAND: TURNING COST TO GAIN

Managing energy demand could save $2 trillion per year, underscoring the economic and competitive benefits for industries and governments. It also demonstrated the role of technology and artificial intelligence in boosting efficiency in difficult-to-abate sectors, as well as the crucial importance of expanding renewable investments, as outlined at COP 28.

COMPETITIVENESS IN THE AGE OF INTELLIGENT ECONOMIES

The Intelligent Economy, driven by the integration of AI, 5G, and IoT, is transforming our daily lives and work. It can either be a booster or a breaker for economic productivity and social and environmental changes. There is an urgent need for strong public-private partnerships and targeted, inclusive educational initiatives to effectively utilize these technologies.

In conclusion, the World Economic Forum Special Meeting 24 served as a pivotal platform for discussing strategies to address energy demand, harness the potential of intelligent economies, and foster collaboration for inclusive growth. Our CEO's participation highlighted our commitment to driving positive change, both globally and within Thailand's private sector.
